★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented the boat from Maria on the basis of a fee for rental and a fee for the skipper which we were happy with. We assumed skipper had a route to follow and would take us out for the day, but rather it was left up to us to decide where we wanted to go which was a bit disappointing as we weren't familiar with the area. Boat was fine and in good condition and we had a reasonable day swimming in different little coves. When we got back we were told there was an additional $115Euro fee for fuel which we were not told about at the beginning which left a sour taste....we felt it was over priced for what we got in then end, given we came back 1 1/2 hours earlier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sivota is a wonderful and authentic fishing village in southern Lefkada definitely worth visiting and staying for a couple of nights. We stayed at Sivota Lodges and were very impressed with Maria's hospitality and knowledge of the area. The room we rented had a gorgeous view and was clean and offered great value for money. There are wonderful places to eat nearby. We hired one of Maria's boats for the day to experience the secluded beaches surrounding Sivota and highly recommend staying here and also hiring one of their boats. Maria is a gorgeous soul and lovely host.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in the area and want to rent a boat, please be sure to visit Maria and Dimitris. Their boats are - that I can judge from my own experience - better equipped than others on Lefkada and in perfect condition. It is often the little things that make the difference. Even the small boat has a little anchor chain, which makes it so much easier to anchor safely on the beach. The briefings are thorough, maps are on board. Gladly you get a cooler to keep drinks cold.
The service of Maria and Dimitris is excellent; their friendliness and hospitality are outstanding.
I will rent boats here again next time as the prices are also more than reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience! We were a group of 5 people and we rented a boat that didn't need any license or skipper. The guy there described us the whole tour that we could make between the islands and it was great advice, the places we've seen were breathtaking. An experience worth trying!

Two being the customer service which came with suggestions and prep so we felt confident and safe while we were out on the water exploring the beautiful islands.
