★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Οι πρώτες σκάλες κατασκευάστηκαν στην Πάτρα το 1873 και ήταν αυτές της οδού Πατρέως, οι οποίες ενώνουν την κάτω πόλη με την πλατεία Αγίου Γεωργίου και την οδό Γερμανού που αποτελεί την κεντρική οδό της παλιάς πόλης. Παλιά σκαλοπάτια με ιστορική αξία για την πόλη, μιας και ήταν ο τρόπος μετακίνησης από την άνω πόλη της Πάτρας προς το λιμάνι. Η σημερινή τους κατάσταση είναι εξαιρετικά άσχημη.
The first stairs were built in Patras in 1873 and were those of Patreos Street, which connect the lower city with Agios Georgios Square and Germanou Street, which is the main street of the old city. Old stairs with historical value for the city, since it was the way to move from the upper city of Patras to the port. Their current situation is extremely bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it's a classic hangout spot. cue the beers. many good memories were made here. but here's the thing, they are slippery, everytime the give me vertigo especially when walking down the stairs. also they are pretty dirty... anyways, take your time walking down or up, maybe chill for a bit and if you're lucky you could stumble upon a group of music playing friends.
