★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my last day of my holiday I was sat next to the pool and noticed my phone was coming out of its case. I pushed it back in but it turns out the battery was swelling up and had separated the screen from phone.
This was less than ideal as I wouldn’t be allowed on a plane with this as is could go off at any moment.
I went down to SmartFix and showed them what happened (they spoke good english), they took the phone, and told me to come back in 2 hours.
2 hours later I collected the repaired phone, paid them €55 and it was all sorted, super fast and friendly.
However... I get back to the hotel (on the other side of the island, so this is €25 taxi each way) and the phone won’t charge, or turn on, it’s just stuck at 0%.
Since I needed this fixing that day as I flew out the next morning, I had to spend another €50 on taxis to get there and back for them to re-fix it. 2.5 hours later they had changed the battery again and I now had a working phone.
I was annoyed at having to spend extra on taxis to get back to them for them to fix it properly, and I’m not sure why it wasn’t tested to make sure it turned on before it was given back to me, but the final outcome was a working phone.
Would recommend this store a lot, just double check everything is working right before you go too far away from the shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More wireless chargers to choose from, good prices. Sellers here are both polite and aware of the technical properties of their goods. Sadly the other similar store nearby was the exact opposite case. Im glad I found Smartfix that day.
