Great hotel with pool bar and parking! Very clean, no extra fee for the air condition. Very helpful and hospitable employees! I highly recommend!

Best food ever

This is not five star luxury and nor does it aim to be. I've stayed in some fabulous hotels and resorts across the far east, Australia, USA, the Caribbean and of course Europe, but I find the simplicity of a small family run hotel in Greece can do far more for your soul, that is the unique selling factor with Sofias, the family. (two sisters, Athena and Martina run the hotel) Typical basic rooms with the ubiquitous Greek wet bathroom, a small kitchenette, air conditioning, wi-fi and safety deposit box included. Great clean swimming pool with separate kids section. Plentiful loungers and a handy pool bar offering really fantastic good value for money food and drinks. (Try the cheeseburger, delicious). Great location on the main Kalamaki road just minutes from the old Kalamaki road to the beach with a small selection of restaurants/tavernas and bars, or the other way you'll be just a couple of minutes from the main centre of Kalamaki with a lot more choice. A great base to explore the island. The capital of the island is just a short bus ride away. You can arrive and stay as an anonymous guest, or if you wish you can engage with Athena, Martina or Jo and feel you are staying with friends or family, either way Sofias is a very good choice if you seek simple, clean accommodation with honest hospitality.

I adore this hotel. Its family run and they are very caring and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. There's a lovely poolside bar which sells very good food until 5.30 every day. Prices are very good. I look forward to my next visit

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel for 10 days and had such a great experience with the 2 sisters and staff that are running the hotel! They were always friendly, genuinely interested and trying to help any way they could. If it was just giving us tips about what to do on the Island, having a friend that could rent us a boot with wich we could go explore the sea with for just the 2 of us for 3 hours. Or just by giving us a warm welcome feeling every conversation we had! The swimming pool was exactly what we needed. And the location was just outside the centre of Kalamaki, everything in kalamaki was at perfect walking distance! 10/10 would recommend
