Π	Παναγιώτης Τανιμανίδης on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little place at the city center. A bit noisy environment with a lot of young people. The dishes although nothing extraordinary, are really tasty. Fair prices and friendly staff. The only negative was the 30’ time before we could place an order, something that seemed to be the case with everyone. Other than that a pleasant experience of Thessaloniki’s gastronomical scene, focused on sharing dishes and targeting younger people and tourists.
M	M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in one of the most touristic locations of Salonica you would expect that it would be too ‘touristy’ and not that great. You will be pleasantly surprised as Sourtouko has attention to detail and is extremely ‘value for money’. We had so much fish and shellfish during our stay in Salonica that we wanted to go vegan and vegetarian during our lunch at Sourtouko. We were pleasantly surprised by the options, quality and value for money. Fava was excellent; the texture, the flavor and the caper pesto were top notch. Mushrooms were really good and a good source of protein if you’re vegan/vegetarian to combine with Fava. The fries with the cheese melting on top of them (as they were served right out of the pan) should be considered a sin as they were amazing! The vegan pasta even though humble to the eye they were surprisingly flavorful and a great choice for a vegan pasta dish. The mushroom risotto was sooo good but we were so full from the rest of the dishes we couldn’t eat the whole thing. The risotto was cooked perfectly; the mushrooms, truffle and overall dish was exceptional for a humble taverna! The dessert was on the house and it was the most old school Greek dessert ever. Homemade ice cream with biscuits and honey glaze on top on a bed of cookie crumble. Overall would definitely recommend visiting the restaurant as it’s in an amazing location and a great food experience in the heart of Salonica!

The restaurant is also bright and airy and located in the Ladadika neighborhood of Thessaloniki, considered the historic district plus great bars and restaurants.
