Πριν την παλαιολιθική εποχή πέρασε και ο άνθρωπος από εκεί!Η περιοχή ενδείκνυται και για πεζοπορία και για σπορ στο νερό! Αλλά και μια απλή βόλτα είναι το κάτι άλλο! Millions of years ago nature made all this! Before the Paleolithic era, man also passed through there! The area is suitable for both hiking and water sports! But a simple walk is something else!

C	Christos Ikiouzis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δυστυχώς κάποιοι ηλίθιοι έχουν μουτζουρώσει τη σπηλιά, έχουν χαράξει τις βραχογραφίες και κάποιοι τις έχουν καταστρέψει με σκοπό να τις πουλήσουν... Τραγικό!!! Εντούτοις είναι ωραίο σημείο με υπέροχη θέα στο φαράγγι... Unfortunately, some idiots have blurred the cave, engraved the rock paintings and some have destroyed them in order to sell them ... Tragic !!! However it is a nice spot with a wonderful view of the gorge ...
Κ	Κonstantina Statha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αν πάτε μέχρι το φαράγγι Αγγίτη λίγο μετά το σπήλαιο Αλιστράρη, μην παρασυρθείτε από τις πινακίδες και πάτε να δείτε τις βραχογραφίες 3 χιλιόμετρα πιο μακριά. Από ένα σημείο και μετά δεν υπάρχει πινακίδα να ξέρεις που πας (στο 2ο κιόσκι αριστερά έχει σκαλοπάτια που κατεβαίνεις στην σπηλιά). Όταν πας στη σπηλιά δεν μπορείς να βρεις που είναι οι βραχογραφίες και παντού στη σπηλιά έχει γκράφιτι δυστυχώς. Τσάμπα περπάτημα στον ήλιο. Η κυρία στα εισιτήρια στο σπήλαιο μας είπε ότι η σπηλιά με τις βραχογραφίες δεν ανήκει σε κάποιον φορέα οπότε δεν υπάρχει οργάνωση. From one point onwards there is no sign to know where you are going (in the 2nd kiosk on the left there are stairs that go down to the cave). When you go to the cave you can not find where the rock paintings are and everywhere in the cave there is graffiti unfortunately. Shovel walking in the sun. The lady in the tickets at the cave told us that the cave with the rock paintings does not belong to any organization so there is no organization.

Δυστυχώς υπάρχουν και σημάδια βανδαλισμών αλλά όπως και να’χει είναι ένα σημαντικό κομμάτι της ιστορίας των ανθρώπων της περιοχής. Μπορείς να φτάσεις εκεί είτε από το σπήλαιο της Αλιστράτης ή από το πάρκινγκ του φαραγγιού του Αγγίτη. It is worth visiting since you will see something unique. It offers a great view over the canyon and is adequately protected from the elements. All these factors make it a splendid candidate for a prehistoric shelter. A hypothesis that is supported by the great amount of rock writings found on many big fallen rocks depicting animals and geometric shapes. If you look it up, you'll find that there are wildly diverse options regarding the age of the carvings, some placing them in the 2nd millennium BC, some 500 AD. Nonetheless, they are really impressive and need to be preserved. Definitely worth a visit, but please, without touching them!
