g	ggounari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a terrific hotel in a perfect location which is run by some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The breakfast is authentic home-made by mom, and is so good we missed not having it after we left. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, with high-end finishes and fixtures. They have a beautiful courtyard where they serve breakfast. The owners' suggestions for day trips and restaurants were so spot on, it made our stay perfect. We will be back.

A great neighborhood with lots of interesting shops and restaurants, and it was an easy, 15 minute walk to the bus station (with service to Samaria Gorge and Elafonisi Beach). Chania is a beautiful town, and however long you're staying, you should add at least one day more to explore it further. The owners (Brothers?) are friendly and extremely helpful with great recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Breakfast was delicious! Everything was wonderful and I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

(Bring your stretchy pants) we couldn’t have stayed in a better hotel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay.
B	Bozidar Belanovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay in Splanzia was amazing and unforgettable. The hotel, rooms and bathrooms are perfectly clean and decorated with taste and style. It is located in a lovely street in the city centre full of lively bars and restaurants, yet the rooms are perfectly quiet and peaceful because of the cute backyard and the orientation of the rooms. The breakfast was served in the lovely cute backyard and was always amazing and rich with delicious local food. The owners of this lovely family hotel (brothers Yiannis and Nikos) are amazing, helpful and extremely nice people. They were always ready to help and give you tips regarding everything - beaches, restaurants, things not to miss and much, much more. We really felt like staying with family. Since we love Crete so much, we plan on coming back soon, and when we do that, we woud definitely love to stay at Splanzia again.

The rooms were great and were neat and tidy. Only criticism is that we had to share a balcony with the next door guests, but that did not disrupt our stay at all. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, we were well fed with traditional and other breakfast items. The location is central in the old town with everything within walking distance. Thank you so much for having us, we really enjoyed our stay!

Lots of great of bars on the same street as well. Comfy, clean rooms, it's a 3 star hotel so it's not fancy, but does the job. As the other reviewers have said - very generous breakfast! Greek yogurt, pastries/cakes, omlette, fruit, tea etc. Staff were very helpful - stored our luggage on the last day and arranged taxis for us. You probably can't go wrong staying here.

On the plus side: 》service 》breakfasts 》is very clean 》great location things that can be improved 》some items in the room needed repair 》breakfast is great and delicious. but the way it is ordered is quite strange. normal menu would make everything easier. the place is definitely recommendable!

Everything was great, no complaints at all. Only thing I missed, was a place to park the car. Of course that's not their fault. Thus, 5 stars and a thank you. Will be visiting on my monthly trips to Chania.
