★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ιερός Ναός του Αγίου Ιωάννου του Θεολόγου δεσπόζει στην Άνω Ποτάμια. Είναι δίκλιτος με τρούλο και στην έγερση του έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί υλικά αρχαίου ναού όπως διακρίνονται ευκρινώς στην πίσω πλευρά του περιβόλου του ομώνυμου ναού. Ο ναός αποτελεί τον κύριο λατρευτικό χώρο στην Άνω Ποτάμια και είναι πλούσιος σε τοιχογραφίες που φιλοτεχνήθηκαν στις αρχές του περασμένου αιώνα. Δυστυχώς είναι επισκέψιμος μόνο τις Κυριακές που υπάρχει η καθιερωμένη λειτουργία διαθέτει αύριο χώρο και ίσως και άπλετο παρκιν τουλάχιστον 15 θέσεων και βρίσκεται έμπροσθεν της ταβέρνας η Πηγή !
 The Holy Church of Agios Ioannis the Theologian dominates Ano Potamia. It has a double aisle with a dome and in its erection materials of an ancient temple have been used as clearly visible on the back side of the precinct of the homonymous temple. The church is the main place of worship in Ano Potamia and is rich in frescoes painted at the beginning of the last century. Unfortunately, it can be visited only on Sundays when there is the established operation, it has a space tomorrow and maybe ample parking of at least 15 places and the Source is located in front of the tavern!
