A	Athanasios Athanasiadis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Χτισμένος στο κέντρο του οικισμού από τους πρώτους Συρρακιώτες, μετά την εύρεση της εικόνας του Αγίου στην πηγή Γκούρα. Το 1821 οι Τούρκοι λεηλάτησαν ολοκληρωτικά το ναό. Η εκκλησία αναστηλώθηκε από τους ίδιους τους Συρρακιώτες οι οποίοι εθελοντικά κουβαλούσαν τις πέτρες και τα μάρμαρα από τα βουνά και πλήρωναν μόνο τα μεροκάματα των μαστόρων-κτιστάδων. Η αποπεράτωση του ναού ολοκληρώθηκε το 1888. Είναι το μεγαλύτερο κτίριο τιμώντας έτσι τον πολιούχο-προστάτη Άγιο του χωριού. Χαρακτηριστικά του είναι η τελειότητα, η αρμονία και η ομορφιά. Ο οκταγωνικός τρούλος στην κορυφή, τα ασημένια πολυκάντηλα, τα ξυλόγλυπτα προσκυνητάρια και ο Δεσποτικός θρόνος στο εσωτερικό τονίζουν το μεγαλείο του ναού και πλημμυρίζουν με ευλάβεια τους πιστούς. Built in the center of the settlement by the first Syrians, after finding the icon of the Saint in the Goura spring. In 1821 the Turks completely looted the temple. The church was restored by the people of Syrraki who voluntarily carried the stones and marbles from the mountains and paid only the daily wages of the builders. The completion of the church was completed in 1888. It is the largest building thus honoring the patron saint of the village. Its characteristics are perfection, harmony and beauty. The octagonal dome at the top, the silver chandeliers, the wood-carved shrines and the Despotic throne inside emphasize the grandeur of the temple and reverently flood the faithful.

This beautful church was built by the first Syrrakians, after finding the icon of the Saint at the source of Goura. During the Greek independence war, in 1821, the Turks completely plundered the church and it was rebuilt by the Syrrakians, who voluntarily carried stones and marbles from the mountains and was completed in 1888. This church is one of the largest buildings of the village, and thus honoring St. Nicholas, the patron saint of the village. Its characteristics are perfection, harmony and beauty. Bottom line: beautiful and very inspiring site!
