★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Καλώ στο ιατρείο και απαντάει μια πολύ ευγενική κυρία. Της εξηγώ ότι σε χθεσινή επίσκεψη με καρδιολόγο εντόπισε κάτι στον λαιμό που χρειάζεται περαιτέρω εξέταση από ενδοκρινολογο άμεσα. Μου λέει να κλείσουμε ένα ραντεβού να έρθετε από εδώ αλλά να γνωρίζετε ο γιατρός έχει πολύ πιεσμένο πρόγραμμα και θα είναι για Σεπτέμβρη. Της λέω ωραία να κλείσουμε για Σεπτέμβρη και αν αλλάξει κάτι μιλάμε εκ νέου. Μου απαντάει ναι φυσικά. Και μετά μου λέει α μισό λεπτό γιατί είναι εδώ ο γιατρός να του εξηγήσετε μήπως βρει κενό να σας δει πιο άμεσα. Του εξηγώ την κατάσταση και μου απαντάει να βρείτε συνάδελφο να σας εξετάσει εγώ δεν έχω χρόνο. Και κλείνει το τηλέφωνο. Δεν θα σχολιάσω καν την συμπεριφορά. Αφήνω σε εσάς να κρίνετε αν θέλετε έναν τέτοιο άνθρωπο για γιατρό σας.
I call the doctor's office and a very kind lady answers. I explain to her that during a visit to a cardiologist yesterday, she found something in her neck that needs further examination by an endocrinologist immediately. He tells me to make an appointment to come from here but know the doctor has a very busy schedule and it will be for September. I tell her nicely to close for September and if something changes we talk again. He answers yes of course. And then he tells me for half a minute why the doctor is here to explain to him if he finds a gap to see you more immediately. I explain the situation to him and he replies that you should find a colleague to examine you, I do not have time. And he hangs up. I will not even comment on the behavior. I leave it to you to decide if you want such a person for your doctor.
