β β β β β We just stayed here over night, this was last minute the hotel were not aware of us arriving. Maria and her staff were perfect. The hotel is very clean and although we only stayed one night we were made very welcome. If you want a holiday close to the beach this is the place to be. Thank you Maria for your help with everything, we wish you all the very best, for the future. Stayed July 2021.

β β β β β This place so nice and comfortable. About 5 minutes from the beach, a good beach at that. The people who work there are happy to help you and nice. The numbers are clean, the territory of the hotel is cozy. The food is delicious and the portions are very large. I boldly recommend it!

β β β β β I had such an amazing experience staying at Stelios Gardens and would definitely recommend anyone looking to stay in Malia to choose Stelios. For the price it was so great, the rooms were as shown and the pool was so nice and even better than the pictures, all the staff were so lovely and helpful, going above and beyond to make our experience here all that much better. The cleaners left a beautiful arrangement of rose petals and heart shaped towels on the bed for my boyfriend and I which was so thoughtful and did so again during our stay, the cleaners really were so friendly. The food here was so good, most nights we looked to explore different restaurants but I would say Stelios probably had some of the best food we had the whole trip. The hotel is less than a two minute walk away from the beach and so close to other bars and restaurants but out the way enough that it is not too noisy and bothersome. The staff and hotel really added to our experience and Crete and if we were to return we would definitely choose Stelios as our hotel of choice.

β β β β β Me and my girlfriend (from the UK) stayed at Stelios gardens during our two week holiday in Malia. We found the staff really polite and helpful and always attended to our every need. The room that we stayed in was perfect, literally just how we imagined it from the pictures. The cleaners were also really friendly and nice and ensured that the room was cleaned thoroughly and on a regular basis. The hotel as a whole was just brilliant, the pool/bar area was always tidy and really nice and the food at the hotel was fantastic (their gyros special was our favourite). Also the hotel is only a 3-5 minute walk from the beach which is perfect. We would definitely recommend Stelios Gardens to anyone that is looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Malia.

β β β β β We had a very friendly welcoming. The guy there speaks good german and english and he gave us the feeling of being long friends.
Very close to the beach. The pool is great and very clean. I like the fact, that even the birds drank out of it.
A bit anoying was the noisy big hotel around the corner. But keeping the windows closed helped. Rooms are clean and the beds are wonderful. I expected to get backpain, but slept like an angel.

β β β β β We were shown to our 1st floor apartment and immediately noticed the bin hadn't been emptied. It was sorted promptly. Cooking was interesting as we only had a single hotplate. Utensils were minimal. My husband had a near miss with the kettle. It wouldn't switch off and escaping steam made the handle very hot. No bath but the size of the corner shower cubicle meant a fatty like me couldn't possibly slip and fall in it! The hair dryer didn't work but luckily I'd brought my own. The TV was in a break neck viewing position and the owner had to replace the remote to get it to work. Then we found out the only English channel was boring news. Mind you, who wants to watch loads of telly on holiday? Everything else was fine. The pool and surrounding area was beautiful, as was the bar/restaurant area. Lovely food, friendly hosts and a few free drinks! Location was close to the beach but quite an uphill stroll into the village.
