★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife took me here because she had been here many years before. The place is amazing, it was a covered arcade in a street with a fantastic little restaurant. The meal was generous and the staff friendly. The menu was also available in English for us travellers.
This is a definite must for visitors wanting an authentic local experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you say you have kontosouvli bring me f.king kontosouvli. Souvlaki is not kontosouvli.
So, although my souvlaki was a bit cold, it was tasty.
Moreover flogeres were amazing. Lettuce-carrot salad below average. Good feta. Good drinks. Above average music. Most of the people working were polite.
A very generous 3 stars review from me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a must visit in Ionnina. The history of the place is really interesting. I loved sitting in and amongst the only in and stalls. The service was excellent. We ate fried smoked gouda cheese at the server's recommendation and it was delicious. We were lucky enough to see live music too. All in all a fantastic experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went based on other recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wasn't busy when I went during the week; a few tourist couples or families but the restaurant is not "touristy" nor is the menu which offers mostly Greek dishes. Try the Hunker Begendi which is delicious. An interesting location, pleasant staff and genuine Greek food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were 4 friends. Arrived there to have a look to the historic building and were welcome by Vesilk who can speak our language. There was a small trio of Greek live music which match the dining atmosphere perfectly.
The owner was so lovely to puts the lights up in the right part of the building asa I told him that I was going to take around to make pics.
When the meal arrived we were more than enthusiast. We choose different plates and were all delicious (especially house meals).
