It's like you live in a fairytale

We hosted our wedding dinner/party at this place last summer. 5 stars for the place, which is magical, pure, authentic, simple in a way, but yet very elegant. Everyone liked it. The lost star goes to couple of not fulfilled expectations. We asked to leave later than normal check out at 12, but our request was not accepted. Which meant waking up early, although nobody was there until much later and in spite of the fact that we paid around 10x the price they usually rent it in high season summer over the week. Lastly, the breakfast was waaaay below expectations (few crackers , rusk, and bottle juices), which made us regret we didn't keep some food of our catering/wedding.

I cannot say enough about the service of Valia and the Think Villa team! Last year, we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, and therefore our stay at Stolidi Muo, and there was nothing but understanding, ease, and flexibility when we needed to move the date. In the run-up to our wedding this year, Valia and her team couldn't do enough to help us. They were super quick at responding, so courteous and warm, and had assistance on every question or thought I had. This year with only 6 weeks to go before we were due to stay at our villa, we had to cancel due to cancelling our wedding, again due to the pandemic. We had already paid 50% and, as per the terms, I wasn't expecting anything back. It was clear, and we knew that would happen for cancelling. However, we got an unexpected, but amazing heartfelt message from Valia, saying she had organised a full refund for us!! We were in complete shock but were so so grateful for this unexpected generosity, kindness, and genuine sympathy for our situation. We never got a chance to stay there but given how utterly amazing the service has been in the run-up to it, I can only imagine how amazing it would have been once we arrived. We really hope that one day, we will make it to Crete! Thank you sincerely Valia & the Think Villa team

We lived a dream at Stolidi Mou, truly like being in a fairytale. The treehouse is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed a lovely welcome pack and breakfast! Thank you so much, we will come again! Lory & Sam
