Surf Club Keros - Keros Beach Limnos Island Limnos island

We stayed at surf club keros from 19-24.06.21. There was NO WIND AT ALL and we rented a car and explore the island. I will not spend time to write all the things that are wrong with the club, but i will definitely advise you not to stay at the camp and do not pre paid for the gear rental. We are advanced windsurfers and this place is beginners friendly only. Unless you are a woman who wants to join the girls camp to post stories/photos on social media and follow a daily program of bbq, trivia and movie nights. I read all the reviews before going and i really thought that people are overreacting i chose to ignore them and keep only the good ones, but from the time we arrived there and experienced the financial mistakes they do, the ignorance on offering solutions to your problems and issues, and the lack of management experience and customer service i got really frustrated. We spent 3 days chasing them about mistakes and asking for solutions on our issues, and since they couldnt offer any solution they chose to ignore us. Long story short it ended up as an expensive holiday without windsurfing at all. Just dont.

I stayed at 3 persons tent the Surf Club Keros for a week on June 2021. The tents were full of ants I was actually walking on ants. The fridge was super small for 3 people. The toilet door was smaller than the tent height so as a result no isolation in respect of smell or noises with the rest of the room. In the toilet there was no sink, there was on the other site of the room. Above the tents there weren’t any tent and it was super-hot during the day. The third bed was on the top of the tent that was super-hot. They only had one fun on the floor that wasn’t helping at all since it was at a lower level than the bed. In addition, the front door there weren’t any door net so you couldn’t leave the door open without worrying about insects. The free space to leave your stuff was not enough for 3 persons. There were a lot of mosquitos and when I asked/suggested to have an appliance for mosquitos since the tents had electricity the answer was: “Come on you are on vacations”. They didn’t even care. And last but not least they had outside the tents a small table that had PLASTIC flowers! Come on!!! I wouldn’t suggest the place! The only good thing was the persons working at the restaurant, cleaning and the drivers of the mini bus they really tried to make our stay as pleasant they could. The breakfast and dinner were tastefull but in dinner they didnt provide water!! I joined the bikini tribe event 19-26th of June 21 and I am disappointed by the organization. During the week the air was not strong enough and only at noon you could do windsurfing but the classes were at 9 or 11 in the mooring that there was no WIND so every day one group couldn’t do windsurfing. I asked to change the time to have it in later time but they didn’t. I felt that they were keeping the “good wind” hours for private lessons. Yoga was only morning at 7.30 that make it difficult to combine it with early windsurf lessons. There is no grocery store or pharmacy nearby and we had to ask more than once so as to organize a purchase. The event is promoted as a women empowerment but I didn’t get that feeling at all on the contrary I felt that since I had the discount package and already paid my opinion or needs didn’t matter. Women around the world were participating but no event or discussion was organized so as to share and discuss about our thoughts on women rights. The hole event gave me the feeling that everything was done for a good Instagram photo. I hope my comments to be taken under consideration so as the next groups get what they came for!!

We spent 3 weeks here in summer 2018, and I'm always dreaming of returning. I loved the location for its natural beauty, the consistent wind direction and the shape of the bay (you can't get blown out to sea). It's uncrowded (compared to Tarifa anyway), there's a good vibe and the service from the Surf Keros staff is awesome, including their rescue service. The camp is laid back with good food and a friendly chill vibe. Good yoga classes at the end of each day too. Can't wait to go back!

The original Surf Club on Limnos island - started 15 years ago in the middle of a natural reserve. Absolutely marvelous environment. If you are looking for a great spot to learn kite surfing (IKO affiliated) or just go and do it - this is the place to go. The team are fantastic, extremely welcoming, helpful, making you feel right at home. It was gut wrenching to leave but we will be back.

We stayed there for about a week and the experience was bad. We stayed for some days at the Safari M luxury tent. It's not only unpleasant to stay during the heat which makes it impossible to rest inside during the day but we also saw 2 mouses inside the tent at night. I've been to many surf camps but I've never experienced mouses in my tent before. We booked 10 days but we couldn't stay there any longer, so we left earlier. The tents are very expensive and it's not worth it at all. We're still crying over the money we spent there. The camp is far away from everything. If you don't have a car you're basically stuck there and there's absolutely nothing to do there. Furthermore I find it unacceptable, that the camp neither offers a mini market nor is there any pharmacy near. Unfortunately, we did not rent a car and we had to walk 1 hour a day to the nearest village. Also the website says that the beach is very near, which is not the case. The surfing lessons were another disappointment. I don't know why this surf camp is called surf camp, since the surfing lesson are very short. It is more convenient to buy the whole surfing equipment by yourself, instead of taking surfing lessons there because it is so expensive (170€ for 4 hours). Since the surfing lessons were so expensive we spent our days at another beach club. All in all, the experience was very boring and bad, I would not recommend going there, especially for young people who want entertainment and fun.Money greedy and indirectly super rude. If you want to visit Lemnos, stay at Myrina and go visit the Surf Club first, before booking something there.

The place is MAGICAL! I spent a week in Surf Club Keros and I have to say, I just didn't want to see anything else on the island. We were a couple of friends together and only went out one night to eat somewhere else because there was no wind that day. The camp is great and one of a kind, the staff was very helpful and polite and the girl at the front office was just amazing. I had a severe headache and they had a huge box with pharmaceutical stuff so you didn't have to go to the village. The station and the spot for kite/wind surfing is super chill and the dj is playing some serious tunes! loved it! Many thanks also to our wavesurf instructor Alex ! we had a blast! See you again next year!

This place feels like heaven on earth! The tents are magical, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, all the staff is exceptionally friendly and kind! Breakfast and dinner are always exceptional - really tasty, using fresh and healthy ingredients. One of the managers - Poli went above and beyond to make sure we feel like home. And I actually feel like home at here. Would definitely come again!
