Goooooood

Good value given the price. Very peaceful location, but still close to the shops and taverns in the centre of the village, which is within a cycling distance from the Keros beach. The apartment is equipped as in the description on the website. Unfortunately, it has the characteristic smell of an old wardrobe (so the first thing we did each time after entering was opening both doors) and the wifi works (more or less) reliably only on the veranda (1st apartment). We found it difficult to keep the bathroom dry: perhaps the drain in the middle of the floor was clogged. The location of the a/c unit directly over the beds is not perfect, but it is really effective. Soap/shampoo/towels are provided (but toilet discs are not). We stayed 4 nights and the apartment was cleaned in the middle of our stay, when an emptied bottle of dishwashing soap was replaced. If you want to cook yourself, keep in mind that there are also no spices, oil, or just tea bags, but you can obtain everything in nearby shops. Before the host arrived for the check-in, we were welcomed by a cleaning lady, who later greeted us enthusiastically each time she saw us somewhere, which was charming indeed, especially as she speaks no English. The host, Tasos, was also very nice: he gave us a lift to the beach after check-in and also to our next accommodation after check-out. He also explained to us different possible routes. He seems to be a busy person, so do not get bothered by a-little-below-the-average amount of attention or information.
