Θεσσαλονίκης ο οποίος αργότερα μετονομάστηκε Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας και ίδρυσαν το «Κέντρο Υποστήριξης Κωφών - Βαρήκοων Παιδιών», με στόχο την παροχή βοήθειας, με προγράμματα ενισχυτικά και πρώιμης παρέμβασης στα παιδιά και την ενημέρωση, την συμβουλευτική και την ψυχολογική υποστήριξη στους γονείς τους.
