★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful port where you can enjoy a nice walk watching the yachts, restaurants, and other shops of Hermoupolis. The marina area should be upgraded is my opinion to make it really a "yacht meeting" point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Port officers are doing the passengers' Vaccination certificates validation well before the departure. There is a small building for the passengers to wait under shade. During the ferry's onboarding the waiting lines are well separated following the instructions by the crew and ort officers. Due to high season, though, the onboarding time can take ~30'

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picturesque scenery port of the Cyclades islands complex. Different building architecture than the other islands of Cylades. Popular destination during the summer season with many good entertainment options. It is close enough to the city of Athens, nice for a weekend gateway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just charming! An island and a port with different cultures, a long history, and a special ambiance per se. Nice shops, good coffeeshops, some new cocktail bars and a variety of resto with some with excellent cuisine.
A place to DISCOVER, VISIT and STAY.
A tip: excellent boatsl communication. 1 h to Mykonos and Tinos. Also, direct lines to Paros and Rhodos.

Syros connect from port of Pireaus with Costal Ferry lines. Daily morning or evening. Summer time you can find also plane two times per day.
Duration with Ferry aprox 3.5 hours and with plane 20m.
Syros you can find almost everything and very cheap compare with other Greek island.
Nice beaches such Galissas, finikas, Kini as well as fresh fish and tasty collection of Greek wines.
Ermoupoli is the Capital of Cyclades Islands,with popularity 30000 permanent citizens.
In the Summer time syros can accomodate more tourist.
With a few words it is an excellent choice destination.
