The host was very nice, kind and friendly, he gave some suggestions and explanation about the dishes, the wine was nice and the fried snails delicious (they had a delicate taste and melted in my mouth). I also got the chance to taste a very good lentil soup.At the end of the meal I was offered a nice dessert and some raki which were both really good. The prices are great as well, and the menu offers a nice variety of traditional cretan dishes. Ireally felt at home. Come and give it a try :)

We ordered the lamb with okra and lamb with pasta. My dish, (lamb with pasta), was delicious! The lamb was very tender and did not have a gamey taste at all. The sauce in the dish balanced out the lamb wonderfully. The bread was delicious as well. It was very nice to enjoy an authentic dish in an area away from tourists (even though I was one myself). I highly recommend the lamb with pasta!

We had a great time The dishes are prepared directly by the grand-maman They are ultra fresh and succulent The desert is a surprise and offered by the boss. (I let you appreciate the pictures) According to the boss, he brings the same considerations to the tourists as his local customers. What he wants is that we keep a good image of his Creta. You can't visit "Xania" without tasting grandma's dishes You can go there with your eyes closed, I advise you.

The setup appears to be mother in the kitchen, son waiting on the tables. Both are adorable. Mom's traditional food is yummy, and son explains it lovingly.
