Στην αρχαία Αθήνα ο Κολωνός ήταν το πλουσιότερο προάστιο, σήμερα ο πλούτος του είναι το βάρος της ιστορίας του. Ο λόφος του Ιππείου Κολωνού είναι προσεγμένος και δεν προξενεί ανασφάλεια, εύχομαι να δοθεί ανάλογη προσοχή και στην υπόλοιπη περιοχή, μια από τις πιο ζωντανές και αυθεντικές της πόλης
It's beautiful up there. The monuments of two great philhellenes (Lenorman and Müller) emphasize the historicity of the area. In ancient Athens, Kolonos was the richest suburb, today its wealth is the weight of its history. The hill of the Equestrian Kolonos is neat and does not cause insecurity, I hope that similar attention will be paid to the rest of the area, one of the liveliest and most authentic in the city.
