★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was greasy and unrefined. The cheese balls were straight from the box in the freezer, wine leaves were warm (?!) and the moussaka had nothing to show for. The wine was comparable to alcoholic fruit juice. Very disappointing for a restaurant with a nice setting in pittoresques village. To be avoided

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed about service and menu offering. When we wanted to order most choices on the menu were not available. Waiter had no attention or time for us. Food quality ok but not exceptional. Plenty of other options in the area with much better service and food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner twice during our stay in Douliana and we enjoyed the food at the taverna. The portions size are huge especially for the salad! Lamb was great, but we were disappointed by the moussaka which was in fact pasticios (macaroni instead of eggplant)
