The quality of food was quite high, as was the level of service. Very kind owner and generous portions of local food. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is located near Douliana, a bit off the beaten track. However, it is really nice with a terrace opening up on a great view. There's also a rear garden that seemed very relaxing even for a drink. The restaurant itself is very simple but don't be fooled, the food there is great ! And as for almost all the restaurants we visited in Creta, the staff was really friendly. In this case, the owner, Capra, offered us some conversation in different languages (italian, finnish, etc). A lovely experience.

Nice and cosy Greek restaurant with very reasonable prices and free ice cream and cakes as desert. Friendly staff and nice view. A playground for families with kids is a plus. Situated in the mountains with a nice view.

Family owned resraurant in the small village Douliana. It is a great place to rest e.g. after a walk through the adjacent valley. They serve traditional greek and very delicious food. From the terrace and garden one has a fantastic view in the valley. I highly recommend this taverna.

Wonderful lunch in gorgeous setting in lovely village. New chef Maria is amazing. Incredible minty zucchini balls, great super tender chicken kebab and soft tasty fried squid. Pig on roast on Sunday lunches. Generous host, very reasonable prices. We will be regulars.

Very overrated restaurant with lovely views about the only thing going for it. Shame that so many people get taken in by the advertising. Not typically Greek and certainly not a typical Greek welcome from the Romanian owner, on the contrary rather imposing and bordering on pushy. Food does not live up to the hype. Much better options in the village and surrounding area.

Lovely taverna in a beautiful setting looking across the olive groves and up to the mountains. The family are exceptionally friendly welcoming and polite and very kind. The food is really good. Generous portions of very good starters and mains beautifully presented with some different and tasty alternatives to the usual options available. Drinks here are a little more expensive than local prices. We had a very nice free dessert of ice cream fruit and cake with two rakis. One cherry one coffee. All the food was superb and beautifully presented. It's lovely here. Only downside is the sales pitch of rakis. Not enjoyable.
