★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional village fare that is made with fresh and tasty ingredients. The setting is beautiful, with hydrangeas in full bloom all around. The owners are very friendly, and the menu is available in three languages. Try the lamb chops, sausage, eggplant salad, and tzatziki. Plus delicious assortment of traditional dessert pastries. As a bonus, you get spectacular views of Volos and the bay on your way there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Gioulbasi' is one of the best dishes you will ever have in your life!! Definitely a must, with excellent choices in the menu of local foods & typical greek grill house dishes. Amazing value for money, with outstanding service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best dinning experiences you can have in Greece; very close and true to traditional tastes of the country, and particularly of that specific region (mountain Pelion, and Magnisia). Words cannot do real justice to how tasteful almost everything is, and what a wonderful and refreshing environment Ortansies restaurant is. Definitely a must stop place if you happen to visit the area. (I personally eat there at least once, every time I visit the city of Volos). Cannot go wrong with Ortansies! Well done Ms. Dimitra, Mr. Akis, and Nicholas!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant has got a great terrace really cozy and full of flowers. Now the food was really tasty and the portions pretty big. We had the smoked pork steak, grilled sausage, feta honey and fried zucchini. The food was of good quality but not something I would remember for a long time. It's ok for a lunch meal. The service was ok, the WC could be really better.
