He dedicated his life for the dogs! Can't say more. The only thing that bothers me a little is that many dogs live in 50m2 areas all day. Other than that I cannot say anything about this guy. He has saved so many helpless lives

This is hands down the greatest animal shelter on this planet earth. Mainly due to this one man's vision and heart, but also due to his amazing followers who financially help him help others. It's clear he pours every dime into this eternally evolving heaven for animals. This man has truly devoted his life to the well being and happiness of helpless animals. Dogs, cats, goats, sheep, birds, hedgehogs, mice, etc., no animal is ignored. Every dime you give goes directly to the well being of his animals and he doesn't even charge an adoption fee. I love this beautiful human being, he restores my faith in humanity. Watch his YouTube videos showing his daily grind and donate if you can.

This guy is amazing. His big heart rescues and nurtures all the dogs...and cats, that he encounters.. He knows every one by name. I watch every morning.

Wonderful work is done at Takis shelter. Homeless and abused and abandoned animals are taken into the shelter. It is a haven for dogs. The man who owns the shelter is an angel on earth. I love the work they do for all the animals?❤

Saint Takis is knocking St. Francis of Assisi off his pedestal. Although, that is not his intention. Takis has devoted his life to caring for Greece's abused, abandoned, & unwanted animals. He does this day in, day out, no vacations, no days off... all day & night 365 days a year. He LIVES in the shelter, sleeps with the dogs, eats with them... If EVER there was a human who "walks his talk" that human is Takis. Surviving totally on donations (I donate every month) & a team of dedicated volunteers (whom I call Takis Angels) he rescues, feeds, gives medical care to hundreds of dogs, cats, goats, sheep... that have had some of the worst abuses done to them by other humans imaginable. Takis rehabilitates them & adopts them out to loving Forever Homes (mostly outside of Greece). My goal is to spend a week volunteering at his shelter before the end of next year. Please donate! Please adopt! Please stop & report animal abuse wherever you see it! Be one of the humans who will help make the world a better place for all! (I noticed that the lowest rating on Takis' Shelter were 3- "3stars" & a "4star" with no comments & one with a "4star" who complimented Takis Shelter & talked about the general overall abuse by the people of Greece toward animals. Everyone else put "5star". THAT says it ALL!!!!)

This place is pretty much heaven for dogs and cats that have been left to fend for themselves in a cruel and Inhospitable environment and Takis is their Angel. No dog or cat is ever turned away, This is their forever home if they are unable to find an adopter. Takis is one of the kindest, most compassionate and generous human beings that ever walked this earth. Please adopt an animal if you are able or please donate to this unbelievably worthy cause
