I checked in after a long journey and was welcomed to enjoy a drink by the pool as they were preparing my check in. I was then told I got an upgrade to a room with a private Jacuzzi on the balcony. The room was super clean with a full kitchen, complimentary waters and two bedrooms. The location was excellent and the staff was very helpful with accommodations and transfers. The room was so nice I thought I could live in it.

An absolutely delightful way to end a holiday. Great hotel and staff. The restaurants recommended were all good too. Breakfast was generous and well cooked. The outdoor pool was a nice change from the ocean and the private spa pool was another lovely touch. We had a late evening flight home and were very welcome to use the facilities after checkout. Thanks for a great few days

Tamarix del mar hotel was just perfect, we just stayed there for one week, everyone an everything was perfect, such a pretty place small an friendly, the staff were amazing an very helpful with everything, we hope to go back an definitely stay there

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay in this hotel. We were hoping to avail of the spa and wellness centre however it was closed, nevertheless we were charged the full rate for a 5 star hotel. We stayed in another hotel in fira to which the spa facilities were fully open. Our room also was very noisy as there was a very loud condenser unit outside on our balcony, making it hard to relax outside. There was also very rarely someone at reception and at the pool bar. There is no restaurant at the hotel, which is strange for a 5 star hotel. Would not normally leave reviews but felt we had to this time, in summary overpriced and is not a 5 star hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at Tamarix and the staff we always so friendly and accommodating, helping to make reservations and book taxis, especially Gerrie who recommended some great restaurants nearby! We stayed for our 15 year anniversary of being together and also got engaged during our stay and the staff couldn’t have been kinder in making us feel special and even left a bottle of wine in our room to celebrate. We stayed in the luxury maisonette and the jacuzzi and sun loungers on the roof were a great addition to our room and offered some privacy from the pool area that can get quite busy with guests enjoying a sunbathe. The room was nicely decorated, super clean and the cleaner came everyday to change towels and make the bed etc. The room was a bit dated and could benefit from some more storage in the wardrobe as there weren’t any drawers to unpack clothes etc. The breakfast is really good and the selection changed everyday - there are always eggs, bacon, toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal and croissants, then an every changing array of cakes, salads, vegetable dishes etc. we especially loved the pancakes and smoked salmon options when they were available, and they can cook eggs anyway you like - they made me a huge portion of fresh scrambled eggs with pepper and tomato. You can order food and drinks from the pool bar to take up to your room too! We will be back

Wow, what a fantastic holiday, it was our sixth time. All the rooms here are amazing and the staff so helpful and friendly. Great location just up from Kamari beach. I'd recommend a stay here for sure.

Just got back from a 14 night stay. Amazing.....from the reception staff to the bar staff to the lovely ladies that cleaned our room. We have stay several times over the years and will definitely be returning .

Lovely little oasis of a hotel apart from music around the pool. Very clean. Bed comfortable. Very friendly staff. Brilliant breakfast, although I didn’t eat the hot food so can’t comment on that! Very comfortable sun beds.
