★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two visits (so far) two great experiences! By far the best service we've received in Athens - the staff is very attentive!
They can comfortably seat about 25 people, prices are good ($7ish for most items on the menu), and the value is great.
Fresh looking and tasting ingredients, a little bigger than average portions...and legit Mexican flavors. We'll be back (again)!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic little taco joint in the heart of Athens. Serving tacos con pollo/pork carnitas/ lamb/ veal/sweet potatoes with chorizo etc. Tacos were supreme!! Burritos were average. The service is really quick, staff is attentive, prices are reasonable!! Well done!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly good Mexican food in Athens!! Staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even to large groups. They offer a wide variety of taco fillings — my favorites were the fish, small shrimps, and carnitas. They also sell multiple flavors of Jarritos, which was a real treat on a hot day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great little restaurant in Athens. I had the tacos, one carne asada, one carnitas and one fish. Very tasty and fresh. Also very friendly server and great ambiance. Was great to have some good Mexican in Greece and this place was amazing!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are craving good Mexican food, do yourself a favor and visit Taqueria Maya. The meat has amazing, well-developed flavor, the margaritas are perfect (a rarity in Athens) and the service is superb. It will be close to any major touristy site you want to visit but it's also worth a trip out of your way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this restaurant. The food is just delicious. I had problems chosing which tacos to order (3 different ones) and could not have told you which was my favourite ! All so yummy. I also had the fresh apple juice. The staff were very helpful attentive and kind. Highly recommend ?
