A great relief on a hot day.
High above the 2 beautiful beaches of Komitata.
(Agia Sofia beach Chorota Beach.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A unexpectedly delightful café in this charming hilltop village. Tassos, the owner, couldn't have been more friendly. Great coffee, his wife's home made lemon pie and his homegrown grapes/raisins. A true taste of old Kefalonia, a worthwhile stop en route to Chorgota beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little cafe next to the Church in Komitata on the east coast road to Fiscardo. Great hospitality. Be warned you will be leaving with some lemon pie ..... 2hich is very nice. Great views at the rear of the church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely little authentic Kefalonian village cafe in the mountain between Agio Sofia and Assos. The proprietor and his wife were charming; the coffees lovely, and the lemon cake we had was absolutely delicious. The most pleasant way to spend half an hour on a Sunday afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first review ever on Google reviews. Especially for Tassos tavern. We had a great night there, with salad from his garden, olive oil he made himself, a lemon pie from his wife and excellent white wine. We spent the night chatting with locals hanging out there and it was lovely. I'm sad I didn't take any pictures, I'll remember this place for a long time.
