J	John Your Mate on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give this place no stars or minus stars I would. The guy serving us looked at us like he had just stepped in something brown and smelly. The lamb - for which we had come to the area especially - was a mixture of bones, gristle and fat that had clearly been heated up in a microwave. The smoked pork was dry and again, reheated. The house red wine was brown and tasted nothing like wine. We sent that back and ordered beer, which is hard to get wrong, and it was at least cold and tasted of beer. Do not come here, unless you like being treated with disdain and served rubbish food.

Service was great, the old dude working besides the grill is kind of a cult figure and friendly and overall we were pretty pleased in the end. Prices might seem a little high, but almost all the portions are huge, so be sure to not get carried away easily.

Pasta was flavorless except the cheese on top which was perfect. All the rest was really nothing special that I gladly ate but not terrible. In any case was not worth the amount of money we paid because there was not quantity either quality on our table. Note please that I have never paid more for food in crete !!! anywhere !!! Neither at chania rethymno or heraklion. The worst part was the service which almost ruin our day with a total lack of respect in anyway possible from the way they gave us food the dirty baby seat which we asked repeatedly and the money ethics of the place. Of course I wouldn't visit again.
