★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is like entering someone’s farm. Pretty setting in the middle of nowhere. Worth stopping for a drink if you’re driving by. If hiking, I would not bother, it’s too far. Don’t believe the sign on the road that says it’s 600m up the hill. It’s at least 3x that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good location and nice people but our experience wasn't great. Ok so we arrived late one afternoon and we were the only people there. The owner seemed to be relaxing with friends inside but didn't object to us staying. We were two people and ordered salad, lamb chops and fries. The salad was ok the lamb chops and fries were the worst we' ve had on the island. They were old and obviously reheated. I can understand it was their wind down time but it shows lack of respect for the client and the owner's work and professionalism. Had they said they could only offer something simple and quick we would have been ok. But sadly they chose to be "clever". Also flies buzzing around the table and no one around after they brought the food so we had to go look for them to pay. We have been coming to Naxos for many years, always trying new places and our experience has been from good to very good and some times excellent. This place is the only that truly disappointed. I would give less than 1 star if rating the food alone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect setting up a small lane to the family run taverna stocked with meat, fruit and vegetables they grow themselves on their farm. The friendliest service, fantastic food at a bargain price all with a great view. You can also buy wood carvings that they also make. They gave us a plate of the most delicious (home grown of course) figs and a small glass of (home made!) fig liqueur to finish

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very genuine place with exremly local food and cheese, that i ordered. It was a Sunday in November 2019 and i passed the sign on the road, turned around and drove upp a very narrow and steep road, both concrete and gravelroad.
The food was excellent and the cheese is a must!
I paid 15€ for cheese first, then a maincourse (chicken and rice) and a beer.
