★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whenever i find myself in Corfu, arguably Greece s most elegant island, i always make a point of having a meal in Gefseis taverna. Home cooked food, with locally sourced fresh ingredients, vast choice of delicious meat and fish, but above all personal service by owner and his ever present wife who personally oversees every little detail. A wonderful experience overall. Views to the port with cruise ships coming and going sets the local scene alive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just waiting for the ferry popped in here not expecting much after a week in kassiopi...how wrong I was... Low key, no frills, but great food. I had the local prawns, 15 euro. Very nice. Fellow speaks enough English.
