Home cooked and super delicious. they have there own olive oil and wine. both excellent. the host is very friendly and speaks 4 languages. we came back for a second dinner because it was so good. also they rent rooms, we didn’t see them. definitely no tourist trap. the family is been on Zakynthos a long time and told us about the time before the tourist boom 30 years ago, when they used to live from olive oil production.

Amazing chilled red wine from their vineyard, the most delicious Greek salad, I never knew a salad could taste so good. I also tried Moussaka for the first time and wasn't disappointed, really hearty and just yummy, my husband had the rabbit which was equally amazing. We really enjoyed sitting and chatting with the restaurant owner after our meal, it was lovely and we felt really welcome, we also loved the dog!! Next time we visit Zakynthos, this will be our first port of call! Thank you so much

Family owned tavern with great food, mostly made with ingredients from their garden, everything is homemade. The food was so good(the mousaka was delicious). Everything is tasty and it feels like it’s from the garden. It tastes like real food . It’s not crowded, the service is excellent, we felt like home.
