★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vacation isn't complete until you eat here. Hands down best meat in Messinia. This place is known for their grilled meat by all the locals. My favorites are beeftaki, kontosouvli, or grilled pork chop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great traditional taverna, the chicken souvlaki and the aubergine imam were the best I've had in Peloponnese (and I've had these dishes in many places).We've also tried the mousaka that was also great, and the pasticcio that was ok, not great.

The place looks a bit old but all the dishes we tried were very tasty, especially the salads and the pork kontosouvli. Also, the prices are very good considering the quality and portion size.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to enjoy a real traditional Greek food. Variety of dishes with authentic tastes. It is crowded during summer. I would suggest it for a lunch or dinner after your swimming at Golden beach which is next to the tavern.
