★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bill was itemised and the prices on the menu clear. It is on the pricey side but the food good (we had the prawns and calamari), the atmosphere and view fantastic and the service polite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the food. Freshly caught fish (by the owner), wonderfully cooked, beautifully presented. Laid back authentic place. Yes, it might not be "cheap", but that's not a bad thing. Do visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware, the food is pricey! It's good, but dont trust his suggestions for choice of food, check the prices on the menu. €20 for a Dorado fish with some fries, €20 for a prawns dish, €8 for a Greek salad, €16 for a litre of wine. Your lunch could quickly turn into a €50 per person lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid. To be found at the far end of Pelekas beach (left hand side). There are 2 signs one saying ‘Taverna Fortuna fresh fish’ and one ‘George Taverna fresh fish,’ just before you reach the sea front. It’s the first taverna overlooking the sea before the modern bar. We were charged 60 Euros for a small grilled sea bream garnished with one or two boiled veg and a plate of 5 shrimps. We also had a small chopped green salad and to drink a small lemon, an instant coffee and an orange juice. No itemised bill given. We offered another 10 euro bill expecting change to leave a tip, only to watch dumb founded when he pocketed the whole amount - so 70 Euro for a simple lunch for two - what a rip off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rip off €50 for two mains and some bread to start. The man never let us look at the menu properly and basically told us what we were having. The prices seemed made up and we never got a chance to see them when we ordered! Food was average quality looked like frozen chicken not gyro meat. Paid €9 down the road for what he wanted €15 for. Would strongly suggest finding somewhere else.
