★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place on the way to the botanical garden, food was good and plenty, wine good, unfortunately a bit too tourist business oriented i.e. a little (only a little) overpriced which might be due to the fact that it is the only tavern on the way. That there was nothing of the typical Cretan sweet or shot of Raki at the end may have contributed to this assessment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After visiting the botanical garden we visited this lovely taverna for lunch. Very friendly place. Excellent fresh orange juice. Greek salad and stuffed peppers were very good. So good, I wanted to write this review and wish the proprietor best wishes for the summer season ahead.

The location is amazing, so close to the botanical garden, surrounded by a valley of orange trees. I have to be honest, here I drank the most tasty orange juice of my life. Indeed I bought two bottles. ?Food is really good and the owners Stella and Karis are so kind and friendly.
