You have to try grandmothers specialities from the woodoven, they are too good! I recommend this gem strongly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here because of good reviews but honestly the food was just OK. We spent 4 weeks on Crete and this is the only place that had fries that came out of the freezer.
I would say this is really tourist food and because there is a nearby hotel that caters to German tourists there are even a lot of German dishes on the menu. I ordered one just to see if it was any good and it was nothing special. They skimped on fresh vegetables but there was plenty of starches. Service was painfully slow.
It's a big restaurant and there is a kids play area so maybe that will be good if you want to relax a bit while the kids play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had lunch and dinner here and both times I left being really happy. Super friendly service, really tasty food (the stuff coming from the grill is amazing) and cool atmosphere. The prices are vrry reasonable. If I ever come back to Crete I will definitely come here again. Truly recommended!
