B	BnEss on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While seating is a little bit difficult in this charming little tavern it is without a doubt one of the best in the marina. We had grilled sea bream and fried red mullet. Both were wonderfully cooked and the presentation was tasteful. The sea bream in particular was buttery and fluffy; I barely even noticed how hot it was as I ate (38°C). The mullet was crunchy outside and soft and flavourful within. Prices for a main plus a drink range from 11-25€ not including the lobster. The staff are very friendly, helpful and speak several languages (we only heard Greek, German and English).

Just walk right past all the big restaurants with employees on the sidewalk trying to draw you in. Here, our seafood was delicious & fresh, as was everything we tasted. The staff was warm and friendly and I can't imagine there's anywhere else in the city in we could have enjoyed more. We arrived at 1pm right when they opened and didn't have trouble snagging a table.

During our stay we've been there twice and once we are again on Crete, we will definetely come back. We have tried there grilled seabream, which was served with fava and baked veggies which was super nice. The fava was so delicious we ordered it next time on a big plate, highly recommended. We also had there very nice seasoned Greek salad. We also managed to taste there great mussels in white wine sauce, which was perfectly balanced and full of flavour. Each time we also ordered their homemade bread which is served with tomatoes and olives. It's crispy, tasty and filling, definitely a must to every order ;) Also, each time after the meal we got ice cream, which is just a perfect way to finish a meal, especially on Crete ;) And the place itself is very nice, there are a lot of veggies outside, a lot of blue and the service is top-notch with the nicest people ever :)

Dakos alone was already filling, and then this fresh grilled sea bream… it was outstanding, served with grilled veggies and some potatoes. I was craving for good made fresh fish and here I got it (and probably, the biggest one ;) All food felt freshly made; kind service by the owner, picturesque view. Would come back again!

The owner is an absolute gem of a woman, so lovely, so kind and so gracious. The staff are all incredibly polite and friendly - you can tell they love the place. And the food! The bread is made by the owner’s mother and is really, really good. Mussels: generous portion, super tasty broth. Must try. I had the sea bream (whole) and it was absolutely perfect - best fish I’ve ever had. The skin was crisp and perfectly seasoned; the flesh was juicy and moreish. My friend had the seafood pasta and while the portion was huge and the seafood was delicious, the pasta was slightly too soft for her personal preference and in the end she wished she’d gotten a fish ? At the end they gave us free ice creams ❤️ and a little bottle of olive oil as a gift!!! ❤️❤️❤️ TL;DR - really special place, the kind you’ll remember when you’re sorting through your travel memories, and will make you smile. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

No drinks menu, wine excellent, perhaps worth the 6euros/glass but felt like the lack of price upfront was intentional. My dish of "mussels, shrimps, peppers, fresh veg" only contained shrimp. We were told the menu was a "mistake" and the host started crossing out the mussels on our menu. As an apology was given fridge cold mussels on a side plate. Starters and mains tasted 8/10 but dessert inedible. Bill overcharged +3euros. Non foodies could perhaps be impressed but this place does not deserve its current high rating. A sad experience.
