★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning setting! Welcoming, very authentic and homy atmosphere due to a cozy, family run restaurant. Delicious, local food and great meat quality. A must if you are in the area and are looking for good food made by locals for a fair price. And the divine dessert on the house was the cherry on top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've visited Crete 8 times now. This was one of the most authentic dining experiences I've had. Traditional Cretean food at its best. I had Saganaki as a starter and the Cheese was produced by the owner.
My main was goat ( from the owners farm) in wine Sauce. Absolutely delicious.
My wife had a pork chop which was massive and her father's choice was Chicken. All dishes were presented simply without thrills but were delicious. We had Retsina and village wine with the meal and complimentary yogurt and honey with Raki at the end. Full bellies and good memories for 56Euros. 10 out of 10 from us. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried goat for the first time, their stewed goat in wine sauce was delicious! And even the "potatoes" (actually french fries) were nicely crisped, something we had not experienced elsewhere. Lovely spacious patio. Also purchased local honey and gift packages of spices and olive oil. Reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love the food and service usually. It must have been an off day as everything we requested was determined to be out. We weren't offered the traditional after meal digestive raki and sweet for some reason. The very nice owner seemed a little distracted on this day. We will return and hopefully that the experience will be better.
