★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πήγαμε 3 άτομα για φαγητό. Τυχαία!!!! και στους τρεις μας, τα μαχαιροπίρουνα ήταν μέσα στη λιγδα.
 We went 3 people for dinner. Random !!!! in all three of us, the cutlery was in the bag.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είναι μια παραδοσιακή ταβέρνα στο ορεινό χωριό καστανιά. Έχει νόστιμο φαγητό και πρόθυμο και ευγενικό προσωπικό . Στο τέλος προσφέρει και γλυκό του κουταλιού . Η πρόσβαση είναι εύκολη καθότι βρίσκεται επί της κεντρικής οδού.
It is a traditional tavern in the mountain village of Kastania. It has delicious food and willing and kind staff. At the end it offers a dessert of the spoon. Access is easy as it is located on the main road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Οικογενειακή ταβέρνα με ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα. Καθαρό και περιποιημένο μαγαζί. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί. Πολύ καλό φαγητό με αρκετές επιλογές στο μενού και ικανοποιητικές τιμές.
Family tavern with a warm atmosphere. Clean and tidy shop. The owners are polite and helpful. Very good food with several menu options and satisfactory prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μικρό γραφικό καφέ στην Καστανιά Τρικάλων!!! Με πολύ καλό καφέ, που ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να τον απολαύσει και κάτω από τη δροσιά που προσφέρει η κληματαριά στην αυλή!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πρώτη φορά ήταν το 2019. Τίμιο απλό και νόστιμο φαγητό! Ξαναπηγαμε στις 31/12/21...45 λεπτά από Καλαμπάκα. Είχε 2 παρέες και 3 τραπεζια μονά με ντόπιους . Σχεδόν παντού υπήρχε και 1 τσιγάρο αναμένο! Φύγαμε. Το ζευγάρι πρέπει να το σκεφτεί καλά αυτό διότι έχει καλή φήμη που δυστυχώς την "χάνει" από άλλα βασικά πράγματα....
It was the first time in 2019. Honest, simple and delicious food! We went again on 31/12/21 ... 45 minutes from Kalambaka. It had 2 groups and 3 single tables with locals. Almost everywhere there was 1 cigarette waiting! We left. The couple must think this well because they have a good reputation that unfortunately "loses" it from other basic things ....
