ITS A SCAMM, they don't give you a menu and then charge ridiculous price for the average food. The only good thing was the view. We only stayed because I felt sorry they had no customers, now I know why.

We had local fish. It was good, the service was slow and confused. But that's the way it is in these places :) But everything! It makes up for the beautiful view!

Be careful!!! You might be fooled!!! We booked a table beforehand, came right on time. A waiter (cook) welcomed us and said that the owner is away right now but he'll be back and that he's all alone. There were around 4 tables with people. Straight away he brought us water which we hadn't asked for but that's OK, cause we were thirsty anyway. Waiter said that there's no menu and he doesn't know the prices but they have fish and meat. I chose grilled lamb and my husband chose fish, which he went and chose himself. After asking the price twice the cook answered that he doesn't know the prices and he doesn't know the name of the fish. The drinks that we ordered weren't brought. The food that we ordered wasn't brought. After the sunset the owner came back (I'm not sure who was it exactly) but a person who started running around and taking the orders from all the tables. BTW they were all busy by that moment. He didn't ask the cook who came when and started to bring the food to people who came after us. So they were all eating and we hardly got our 1 drink. After we finally cought the waiter we repeated our order and started to wait. We waited for a long long time. After reminding several times about the wine he finally brought it, then he finally brought the fish but my meat wasn't coming at all. After reminding about the meat he said he forgot, so they started cooking it like after 1,5 hours... So overall we had grilled lamb which was delicious btw, fish, Greek salad, coke, wine. For all of this we had to pay 93 EUR!!!!!!! After clarifying why the price is so high the waiter explained that the fish is super expensive, that it costs more than in other restaurants etc... The price of the fish he said was 60 EUR. SERIOUSLY?!?! Just for the fish with 2 pieces of lemon and nothing else?!?! The fish was an ordinary red sea bream. So for all of the rest 33 eur. Really? There was no light, completely dark, the sun was already down, we had to light up our dishes with the phone to see what we eat and we have to pay 60 eur for the fish?! Even though we asked the price twice but we didn't get an answer. Unfortunately we were dissapointed and already tired of driving there and waiting for soooo long that we just couldn't fight for our rights and for the check. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND ASK FOR THE PRICE BEFOREHAND OR ELSE YOU'LL BE CHARGED AND FOOLED. The sunset and the view is beautiful but you can also watch it from the nearby tavernas.

The view is wonderful for the sunset, the cocktails and the food better than good. Last but not least the services is excellent. ?

Unmissable A joy for your palate Arrived in Zakynthos for a 10-day vacation with my friends and having to duly dine in the evening, we relied on the various reviews and travel tips found on the web. One of the places to visit was the top of a hill famous for photographing sunsets (promise to my friend Anna who loves photography). The review advised against two other restaurants, which were described as too commercial and indicated a third one called “Taverna Panorama” in Kampi. Apart from the navigator who made us turn half the island for nothing, we finally arrived at the place indicated by the navigator and made a short climb we reached a square. There was no one except a seated gentleman who looked at the view, we looked at each other and said "it will be closed, let's look for another restaurant, what do we do? Honestly, the first impact was certainly not reassuring but we said to ourselves, "now we're here, we have to photograph the sunset and the review is good let's try" The gentleman (Peter) sat and told us that the restaurant was open and asked us if we wanted to have a fish or meat dinner. He made us sit and took us to see the fresh fish, caught in the morning and the meat. Two of us chose the fish, one salad and I chose the meat. The various appetizers arrived, which were literally devoured, and accompanied by an excellent wine made by him. Then came the fish and salad pacts and that I can't judge because I haven't tried them, but I can judge my dish with mix with steak and lamb chops. Only one word can describe what I felt in eating them "SUBLIME and A JOY FOR THE PALATE". The crust that had formed, the salty taste at the right point and the spices added with a perfect cooking that melted in the mouth made it a dish that I have to admit I hardly think I can try again. Of course all this at the right times with calm to be able to savor everything. At the end a nice dessert and an excellent espresso coffee which, said by an Italian, is saying something All for the sum of 60 euros for everyone. I am writing this review at the end of my holidays in Zakynthos where we went to a different restaurant every night. I can only say this: all four of us have compiled a personal ranking and Peter, with his Taverna Panorama, was in first place for everyone, both in terms of cuisine and as an environment. To conclude, I can give you some advice not to stop at appearance, which sometimes deceives, because if we hadn't stopped we would have missed the opportunity of this unique and fantastic dinner. Amazing food, amazing view, amazing atmosphere. The restaurant is placed on a cliff in a calm area where you can trully rest and relax when eating fresh and very tasty local food and watchich the most beautiful sunset on the island. The owner is a really nice person. If you want to spend a romantic evening, you should visit this place ;) I recommend it and for sure, one day, I will come here again.

This place has an very nice sunset view! The people are nice but they have a very small menu. The waiter told us what they had. We chose the mixed grill and the meat was very good. The fries where not that crunchy, but ok. The only dessert they had was watermelon with galiamelon.

It was the best restaurant that we have visited in Zakynthos. The food is amazing, we tried beef steak, lamb and also traditional desserts (one of them called Frygania I believe). All of the meals were high tier, made to perfection, perfect taste balance, no excessive oil. Desserts were also very tasty Frygania was very light and balanced- not too sweet. The vibe of the place and service is very pleasant, not overly crowded. We felt a genuine hospitality and warmth being there. I believe it is a business run with passion and not just a way of earning money. Sunset was the best one we have seen in the island. And our two visits there were a very pleasant experience each time. Price-wise it wasn't the most expensive place that we have visited in Zakynthos, price level is just the same as any other restaurant you would visit in there, but the food and service is exceptional.
