We were lost on lassithi plateau and were looking for a good table for 21:30 for 8 people. She closes at 21:00 but opened for us. She welcomed us like if we were family. All the vegetables are organic from her garden. Her husband is the butcher of the village. I took lamb...you could taste the aromates, rocks and fresh air of lassithi plateau. The wine and raki are local ! The bill was very low, she offered us a loooot of vegetables from her garden ! So nice ! We left good tip for her kindness. We left Maria-Rea's Taverna full tummy, with peaceful smiles, warm heart and with the feeling to have made a new friend. We wish you all the bests to you Maria and to your precious family! T	Tessa P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is mediocre. The souvlaki and bifteki were not home made unfortunately. Service was friendly and they offered complimentary fruits. The doors however was much better across the crossroads.
