★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a find! A fantastic traditional taverna with great food at a great price. The lady owner was very friendly and attentive and gave us lots of free extra's. We would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't get "lamb casserole" even though that's what I ordered. Got roasted lamb and potatoes and they told me that's what it says on the menu. Was charged for bread I didn't order which I never was at other taverns. Tzatziki was a good portion but for 5€ quite expensive. Food was good though.

We have chosen this restaurant according to the 4.7 note. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! It is the worst restaurant we have had in Crete. Not just the service bad but specially the food.
One of us has now food poisoning/intoxication alimentare (and we are sure it is this food cause it is the only thing we have eaten yesterday) nothing was fresh except the bread.
My advice:
AVOID IT if you don t wanna ruine your vacation...

Lovely experience all the way through and worth the drive for at authentic Greek experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time ever I was misguided by good reviews. The food was ok but the place had little ambience and had very unfriendly staff. The card machine didn't work and the normally lovely complementary Cretan dessert consisted of an apple at this place. All in all, very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SAGANAKI IN CRETE. Overall, the food was delicious, especially fried aubergine and potato omelette. Service provided by the managing lady was perfect, i.e. kind and pretty fast. I don't think you'll find a better place for such a food experience anywhere near this plateau.
