Only stopped for a drink, but the welcome was warm, friendly and relaxed, It happened to be the saint day for the church in the square, so we were given delicious free fruit cake. How hospitable! Excellent place to sit and watch the world go by - and it's a sure bet that if the locals are drinking there, then it's got to be good ? Recommended ????

Delivering Cretan experience cozy atmosphere other than all these suggested Tavernas in those holiday metropoles. Remote location but not too far from Malia and 100% worth visiting, eating & drinking and best of it all enjoying real Greek surrounding!! Visit if you can!!

A lovely tavern in a small villa called Mochos .The food is very tasty and the portions were very large.Tipically friendly and welcoming greek people.

This Restaurant got recommended to us from locals and I can say it didn't diasappoint. As soon as we arrived, the host came up to us and helped us park our bikes. We felt really welcomed. He quickly brought us some tap water and asked if we wanted any other drink. We ordered a really tasty and freshly pressed Orange Juice, which I can only recommend. We got some free bread with some Salt as well as some Kind of spice mix with olive oil. It was really tasty. We had his "Gyros special" which was lamb Gyros with Fries as well as pita, Oignon and tomato. It tasted amazing. I do want to say that they were missing a lot of dishes that were on the menu because it was off-Season. They just didn't have the ingredients. After the main dish we got offered some fresh fruit from his garden as well as some really tasty coconut Cookies. Again, for free. My friend also bought a piece of apple pie for 3 Euros and PLEASE, pleeease try it if you can. We both agreed that it Was easily the Best apple pie we ever had. Really great pie for only 3 euros. In the end we only played 45 euros for 4 people. Great price for the food and hospitality we Got offered. Can only recommend, please come have a visit :D
