★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The atmosphere of this place is very inviting and the staff welcoming. Been to the place thrice the food was very good and affordable. Just that the consistency of certain dishes was varying. The quantity to price was more than expected.
The standout dishes here were their fried eggplant, grilled vegetables, and their dessert of greek yogurt with honey and fruit of the day.
Their meat and seafood dishes were also very appetizing. Especially their burgers and grilled octopus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazzzzzzzzzing lab chops. We drove on the way to Elafonissi and Balos beach. Stopped by here by reading reviews with a place that has Parking and easy on/off the highway. We had the lamb chops and it was the best thing we ate so far. So good we went back a second time for a bigger portion of lamb chops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One name, one guarantee. We had dinner at Taverna Zisis three times, and it was never disappointing in any aspect! This gave us the chance to try as many different plates as possible from the menu. Meat, fish, appetizers, salads, small dishes, you name it. Everything is delicious, service is impeccable and super quick! A must try are the snails, the bifteki and the gemista.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely beautiful restaurant with a relaxing and cosy out door seating area and extremely helpful staff. This was our first meal out in Crete and we were unsure of what to order to begin with, but our waiter was extremely helpful and recommended a few different dishes to share which were all delicious and didn't break the bank. Would definitely recommend Zisis too anyone who is looking for authentic Greek dishes at more than reasonable prices and a relaxing meal out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent price and delicious food, grilled ribbit was especially good. Goat cheese pies have a hint of mint flavor, perfect ? Sardines where a bit dry, green salad misses flavor. We’ve eaten there several tomes, in general — very nice.
