L	Leo de Waij on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hadden daar vooraf veel van gehoord. Dat vier een beetje tegen. Het eten was niet slecht, maar ook niet bijzonder. We had heard a lot about that beforehand. That is a bit disappointing. The food was not bad, but nothing special.

Hier entsteht aus der Kombination Österreich/Kärnten und Griechenland/Zakynthos eine interessante und immer wieder spannende "Kombi-Küche". Auch atmosphärisch gibt es hier österreichische Einflüsse. Etwa die nicht immer gleichmäßig freundliche Stimmung. Manchmal haben Besucher das Gefühl, nicht wirklich untertänigst bedient zu werden. Bisweilen ist sogar etwas zu spüren, das in Wien "Granteln" heißt. Ja, kommt vor. Aber hier "menschelt" es eben noch. Hier wird nicht beim Betreten eines Gastes das "McDonald's-Grinsen" aufgesetzt, das in Konzernen in Seminaren eingeübt wird. Aber das Essen hier ist ein Gedicht! Vergleichbares gibt es in der Umgebung selten - was nicht gegen die Konkurrenz spricht, sondern für die Taverne "Esther und Nikos". If you want to eat well in this area, you cannot avoid the "Esther and Nikos" tavern. The combination of Austria / Carinthia and Greece / Zakynthos creates an interesting and always exciting "combi kitchen". There are also Austrian influences here in terms of atmosphere. For example the not always equally friendly atmosphere. Sometimes visitors have the feeling that they are not really being served submissively. Sometimes you can even feel something called "Granteln" in Vienna. Yes, it happens. But here it is still "human". The "McDonald's grin" that is practiced in corporate groups in seminars is not put on here when a guest enters. But the food here is a poem! There is rarely anything comparable in the area - which does not speak against the competition, but for the tavern "Esther and Nikos".

Heuer 2018 versuchten wir es wieder, in der Hoffnung die Wirtin würde uns mehr an Freundlichkeit entgegen bringen. Nein alles wie gehabt. Nein danke. Very unfriendly treatment, Visited this restaurant 3 years ago on the recommendation of our tour guide, were disappointed. This year 2018 we tried it again, in the hope the landlady would show us more friendliness. No, everything as usual. No thanks.
P	Paul on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het leek ons wel een gezellig tentje, dus hup naar binnen, biertje en wijntje en kip souvlaki besteld, nog nooit zulk een slechte souvlaki gegeten, gort droog en helemaal vastgebakken aan het houten stokje!! En dit alles voor ook nog een vorstelijke prijs!! Nooit meer geweest dus! It seemed like a cozy place to us, so hop inside, ordered beer and wine and chicken souvlaki, never eaten such a bad souvlaki, completely dry and completely baked on the wooden stick !! And all this for a royal price! Never been again!

t	tom mel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small place on the main street. They don't have a nice view on the sea but they have really good food. They offer around 5 dishes of the day of which at least one is vegetarian. E.g. the vegetarian moussaka was one of the best I've ever tried.
