★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A clean, nice hotel. Has a playground for kids. Free parking place is also available. Friendly staff. Wifi is very good. Breakfast is moderate. Rooms are bigger than standard hotel rooms. Approximately 2.5 km away from the city center. There are 2 organized beaches at walking distance. A big market (Lidl) is 50 meters away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this hotel in summer, amidst the coronavirus pandemic and I was happy about the safety measures taken. From the very first minute they offered us free sanitizer and they took our temperature. Besides the info regarding the pandemic, this hotel was in an ideal location (just a 5minute drive from Alexandroupoli's centre + at a walking distance from the beach).Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast was kind of simple and poor, but perhaps the pandemic forced them be less extravagant. All in all, Thalassa was a quiet and clean, regular hotel. Not the best, nor the worst.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect. Just across the street is the beach with a few beach bars. A supermarket is just next to it. The city centre with nice tavernas is also close.
The rooms are always clean and big. In front of the hotel there are a lot of parking spaces.
The owner really pay attention to the needs of the guests and are always helpful and friendly. I haven't seen often such a good breakfast in Greece. They prepare pancakes (Crepe) and omelettes which is great.
I would recommend this hotel to all my friends who visit Alexandroupoli.

We visited Thalassa Apartments Hotel for a four night stay in the beginning of June. We stayed in a double room, the mattress was very big and comfortable and we had a nice view on the garden and sea from our balcony. The price for the room was affordable and the breakfast met our expectations. The staff offered quick service when needed.
Not to mention that the sea was only 100 m far away from the hotel and we had a nice time at the beach bar close to Thalassa hotel.
I strongly recommend Thalassa Hotel for a pleasant stay in Alexandroupolis city.
Me and my husband will definitely stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother stayed in the hotel for four days. Her room was dirty when she arrived but it was cleaned afterwards. My friend arrived the next day, that had arranged to stay for three days. His room smelled like sweat. He left the following day for another hotel. One close family that stayed there found broken glass and hair on the floor on their arrival. Receipts were never given to any of them. Cleanliness isn't a keen in this place.

Not by the sea side, you need do a 5-10 mins walk to reach the beach. 3km to the city center.
