β β β β β Room and pool are great. However we had some funny surprises with the staff. One bartender tried to educate us about Asti when he was clearly wrong. However the breakfast was very special. When ordering blue cheese I got edam and instead of prosciutto I got Chorizo and when I clarified I got the following answer after return: "I asked the chef and he confirmed that this is blue cheese". That went on for unbelievable 3 days but one of these funny memories.

β β β β β I reserved a room. When I arrived the hotels renovations weren't complete so I was put into a lesser room next door at a different hotel. The included breakfast wasn't available at the hotel so I had to go to yet another hotel. I was finally placed in a room in the actual hotel but it wasn't the type of room which I reserved. The staff was always helpful and the included breakfast at the hotel was good. Even though things started to work out in the end, I endured more disappointment then I needed to.

β β β β β My stay at Thalassa hotel was one of the best I have ever had. From the bottom to the top, everything was beyond great. The treatment of the hotel team was incredible, they thought about every detail. The hotel suite included a private pool was amazing. Very clean, and convenient. Breakfast is amazing, not to mention the hotel restaurant. Had the best stay and will come again..!

β β β β β Truly remarkable Boutique hotel with amazing sea view. The staff and owners were amazing, helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Angel who was very kind to us during our stay. We really enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The beach is arguably one of the best in Mykonos. Highly recommended!

β β β β β Small but very nice hotel, minimalist design but comfortable and in a great location. Outdoor salt water pool is small but nice, not very busy as most people go down to the beach. Some of the rooms have great views over the bay and beach below. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The best thing about the hotel is that it has its own private section of the beach with sunbeds only for guests (free). It's also at the nicest end of the beach and have much more space between sunbeds than the other beach clubs (they are packed like sardines and very expensive)
The beach the hotel on is otherwise is very crowded and the biggest complaint is the non-stop extremely loud club music coming from properties next door. However at the time it seemed to stop around midnight.

β β β β β I stayed in the hotel for 3rd year in a row.
Each year the management develops a different area of the hotel in order to stay up to date and give the visitors a more luxury experience. The pool bar has an updated menu which i urge you to try since it combines the quality of a high end restaurant with Mediterranean flavors , with great service and good prices.
The cleaning service was very good and the measures for covid 19 made you feel safe. Pro tip: Visit the cocktails bar after 19:00 to enjoy a unique view, along with your drink.

β β β β β Thalassa Boutique Hotel provides a wonderful stay on Platis Gialos in Mykonos.
Location - conveniently located on the prettiest beach on Mykonos, along a walking path that will take you in 10 mins to Paraga Beach (Scorpio recommended), and walking distance to several great restaurants (Yialo Yialo was a fav). Thereβs two mini markets just 5 minutes away one on the beach and one a few steps from the beach. The bus runs hourly to and from town and is near the mini markets.
Staff - The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. Anigelos took great care of us providing local recommendations, calling taxis, getting us drinks by the pool, carrying my 60lb bag to and from the room with ease, and ensuring we had a memorable stay. The front desk were helpful and available 24/7- they called to get us reservations, answered questions, and printed our ferry tickets.
Amenities - we preferred relaxing by the pool (less wind) with the beach view compared to the beach but itβs a great setup to have the best of both worlds and enjoy both depending on the time of year. There was lots of space between beach chairs/umbrellas. The included breakfast is oceanfront and was excellent (cappuccino & Nutella pancakes). The included toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) were solid and the hotel provided a few bottled waters in your mini fridge daily. Thereβs also a steam room and small gym available for use on property. The sheets and shower were good quality and the AC worked well.
Rooms - we stayed in one of the rooms with a private pool/beach view balcony and also a two bedroom room that walked out to the main pool (no private balcony). Surprising we preferred the extra space in the two bedroom room (with two bathrooms) and close proximity to the main pool, but you canβt go wrong with either option.
