Thassos Grand Resort - municipal unit Theologos

It is a good facility, at least good for the price we paid (2 adults + 2 children). Breakfast is very good with a lot of choices and fresh food, staff was always friendly and helpful. The beach is just ok (it is not at the level of Paradise Beach or Golden Beach which are 10-20 minutes away) but it is acceptable if you don't feel like spending another 10 mins in the car to get to a better beach. We had a good time here, would not say it is really 5 stars but for sure above 3 (so let's say a decent 4 star hotel for what you should expect in Greece for this price). If I would compare it to a 4 star hotel in western side of europe, it`s is clearly not at that level, but anyways acceptable. For anyone traveling to Greece and cannot afford 30.000 euros for a 10 days vacation (like I cannot), this is a good choice...all in all I never saw a facility in Greece that really rises up to the star rating (if it is 5 stars, the best you can hope for is a decent 4 star hotel)

I've been there last summer. Same basic breakfast every day, expensive prices at the bars, their traditional taverne is also basic in terms of quality, beach is with pebbles. Rooms are nice but not big, the setting and the pool are also ok. Definitely not a 5 stars location for me.

It's an awesome hotel and I had a nice stay. The only disadvantages are LOUD RADIO MUSIC ON THE BEACH ALL THE TIME!. Really no time to have a chill in silence with only sounds of nature. Second is quite expensive water 2e per 1l. Third is totally no tracks for some longer walks. You can walk only in hotel area. No tracks in surrounding mountaines what is a big loss. Other hand staff is very nice and chatty. Buffet food is tasty and differentiated every day. Room clean and fresh. I would back to the hotel again maybe if the music on the beach is off sometimes so i can have some chill.

Super nice place. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Half of the crew is very friendly and helpful. But they have some frustrating policies that try to enforce, which makes no sense from a consumer point of view. We have paid for breakfast, but I only am allowed to have my breakfast coffee at the restaurant. Why cannot I have it on my terrace or anywhere on the resort? Why cannot I take a cup of coffee to my wife, who cannot join because she was busy in the morning? I totally understand why they wouldn't allow food to be taken out. In the taverna, you are not allowed to order from the snack menu, which is also prepared in the same kitchen at the taverna. So if want a fish, and my kid wants a club sandwich or a pizza, we supposed to eat separately. Me in the taverna, he in the beach bar. I know their reasoning for both of these issues above, but they don't make sense, and just restrict and frustrate their consumers, instead of making them happy. When we've confronted the manager, he was having an attitude and made a pity on us offering an exception. I don't want an exception, I want to freely have my morning coffee that we've paid for wherever I want. Takeaway coffee is a normal thing. They claim to be 5 stars, but: - some waiters are a real mess - the foods are arriving in a strange order (main comes before soup, kids usually are served last) - they don't have 100% orange juice at breakfast - usually, you have to hunt to get some cutlery - some crew members don't know how to wear a mask (nose is sticking out) - not many sport options -the taverna's menu is kind of short for a week stay in a resort. I'm writing this long review hoping that they will read it and introduce some changes because we've really enjoyed the place besides these minor issues.

Terrible place with awful food! Beach is NOT sandy! PEBBLES! Pools are extremely DIRTY! Food is total DISASTER! Service is …no service..! Kids club resembles a casino - paid electronic games only! Modern rooms and bathroom, but not enough water to wash even a baby! The ratings may not be real! NEVER again! Never been in such a MISERABLE place in Greece before!

A very good choice to stay in Thassos. The resort is in a nice location, has its own beach suitable for children. The food was ok (not the best but not bad either) but the fact that you have to pay for water is for me unacceptable(it's not a whim like beer or juice, it's a necessity). Anyways, I would come again gladly, the personnel was top notch!

This hotel was such a nice surprise. The beach is so nice and cozy, not too crowded. The room was great, food was nice. We loved everything. The only thing we would improve is the number of seats at the beach bar as there are not too many and most are in the sun, not in the shade. Overall, great experience and will come back!

We had the most relaxing, joyful and lovely stay at Thasos Grand Resort so far! In my opinion this is the hotel with best quality service on the entire island. We fell in love with the cozy apartments, the pool area and the best part was the private beach with stunning sea views. Thank you for the special attention and best service.
