The Anthemion House - Kolokotroni 7

This hotel can be described as a paradise! From the moment we arrived, I knew this would turn out in a wonderful experience! The location was perfectly thought about as is right next to the plaza where the city comes to life. Moreover, the history behind this hotel is truly fascinating and it gives you a different prospective while accommodating, as well as, the designs within the rooms which have been so unique and creative with the mix of colours that combine together perfectly to give you a feeling of Greece but also calmness. The attention to design detail was nothing like I have encountered before. Facilities have been wonderful from the free tea, coffee, water etc, to the natural made shampoos and shower gels that smelled incredible. Also, I want to point out the details within the room as there is a snake plant which helps with your sleep as it gives off oxygen at night. In addition to this, the breakfast was absolutely perfect for me and I loved the variety of natural and local products as these tasted amazingly, I did not want to stop eating!! As for the staff, how can I forget such wonderful and caring staff, they are all truly passionate and team working in order to provide the best experience for customers. They are all truly amazing people with good hearts that can help you in every situation, especially with the city map on what places to visit or eat and many more. As upon leaving they have provided us with some Greek sweets and a post card! How sweet! This hotel and the hospitality within it has remained in my heart and I will return soon to experience it all again! So lastly, I just want to thank everyone that was part of this amazing experience, I miss you all and I wish you good luck on opening another beauty like Anthemion House!

This was by far one of the greatess place I check in. They call me to confirm the reservation. When I arrived they made me an upgrade to the room and also I received the breakfast in room. Since in the last day my lover check in they gave us a bottle of wine. When we checked out they gave us another gift: local sweets. The place is so chic, clean and silence to rest. It is close to port and restaurants - 5 min walk. I recomand it with all my heart!

The Anthemion House is the best choice we could make in Kavala. Outstanding in all aspects. The room was cozy and well equipped with all the necessary things. Sparkling clean and tidied daily. The staff was friendly and helpful with everything, including guidance for exploring the beautiful city of Kavala. The parking on the spot was a big plus. Short walking distance to the city centre and to the main port. We would most certainly love to come back in the future.

Extremely friendly and polite staff to begin with. We booked Room 6 which was lovely. Very clean, aesthetic and well lit. Blackout curtains available in the bedroom. Apivita toiletries that were changed daily. Breakfast in a basket is very clever, had a lot of variety, very filling and tasty. We were gifted with a local wine bottle due to a minor inconvenience during our stay and a box of local delicacies on checkout. Definitely recommend and we'll be staying again if we are in the area.

New, cozy, family owned boutique hotel nestled in a narrow street 50 meters from the Kavala aqueduct. Everything about this little gem is perfect: the location, the rooms, each of which has its personal flair, the staff, the breakfast, the meticulousness with which this 19th century neoclassical former home of a tobacco merchant has been restored.

Very close to Arches, walking distance to Kavala promenade with a lot of coffees and restourants. So beautiful house and so nicely renovated! Clean room and bathroom, perect decor everywhere, also parking available (very rare for Old Town!!!) , gym not bad, extra space - on each floor there is a terrace for glass of wine or for smokers. The best is the helpful and polite staff! It is on a one way street, but was ok. Complimentary: sleepers, toiletries, bottle of water, ear plugs. Be aware, 2nd floor and 3 floor are reachable through outside stairs, a bit steep, I guess not so good for handicap or old people. Breakfast was good, I wish to had more local products like feta ;) Definitely I will book at same place next time!

This is far better than any hotel or chain hotel or guest house, it is like as "home sweet home" Strongly recommend to who wants to stay in Kavala for short or long period. Excellent cleaning, more than enough breakfast, very friendly staff, very easy location and free and easy parking. What can you expect more????

Super comfortable and stylish hotel runned by very professional and nice people. It's been a wonderful stay. (I'm only posting pictures from the tasty local breakfast they deliver you in a basket everyday, since it's the only thing not depicted on their website. Everything else is just like the photos there!) Come to Kavala and stay at The Anthemion!
