★ ★ ★ ★ ★ [visited in July 2021] Picturesque from any angle, from up close or from the top of the old town’s fortress, the structure looks very well preserved. First built by the Romans, reshaped by the Ottomans, still used by the Greeks to supply water to the city - this sure speaks volumes of the long and complex history of the place.
