The Athenian Callirhoe Exclusive Hotel - Kallirrois 32

The hotel is in a really good spot. It was nice and clean. My only issue while I was there---i had a do not disturb sign up on my door. I came back from an outing and my room was wide open and THREE people were in there. I inquired why they were in my room. They had to reprogram channels on the TV. During Covid, I think this should wait when guests check out. Here they were, in my room without masks on, talking, and touching the items in my room. I had to use my products and time, to resanitize my room. I wasn't happy.

Great location - near the Plaka and everything you’d want to see. The staff was very friendly and kind and we loved that they had included many small items you’d never see in a hotel usually, like a shaving kit, etc. The room was fine; we were only there one night after flying in on an international flight and were exhausted. However, the air conditioning was barely working when we got there. We inquired about it and were told to just wait a bit and see We had drinks at the rooftop bar - a must do - beautiful view and again, very friendly and accommodating staff. We came back to the room and it was cool enough, but by 3 am it was boiling hot. We could open the doors but it is so loud in downtown Athens that you can’t sleep with them open. I called the front desk to ask for water and was told that “water is available from your sink” - or to walk up to the bar and see if anyone was there to get me a bottle. Anyway, we gave up on the water. Since it was only one night, there wasn’t much point to trying to find an answer to the cool air problem. We’d stay again, but hopefullly with less jet lag and more of an ability to problem solve next time.

This hotel is very trendy. Our favorite part was the rooftop restaurant. John? and George were amazing! The view was great and the service was even better. I ordered the lamb chops and they were a little tough and fatty. I had salmon another day and it was great.

I was surprised to have seen that this hotel included toothpaste, toothbrush, a mini sewing kit, disposable razor, shaving cream, and even conditioner. I've always went to hotels being readily-packed, knowing that most don't include these but wow, this one sure has thought about its guests' necessities! The room was clean as well! I would suggest to put guests a bit farther away from each other because we heard a group of loud and drunk (maybe college students) tourists overnight but otherwise, all is great. The guy who works at the front desk has had experience living in Florida by the Gulf of Mexico but he moved back to be close to his parents, which was pleasant to hear.

The location is amazing where you can see Acropolis from roof top restaurant. We could walk to all landmarks comfortably and it was quite convenient. The front desk staff is friendly and courteous. The breakfast has lots of variety and they even have taxi, bus and tour booking from front desk. I would recommend this anyone looking for ideal location in the middle of all landmarks.

This hotel has very friendly staff, speak English, and has a delicious breakfast buffet. The rooftop garden restaurant/bar should be visited. It is beautiful up there and an amazing view of the Acropolis lit up. We had the penne pasta with chicken and cream sauce which was very tasty. Cheesecake was good as well. The room is clean and beds are comfortable. Very nice room.

This is my first week at the hotel.I have another week to go. Everything was just perfect. Only thing was to electrical outlets were to lose to plug in your charger for cell phone. You then only have 2. The rooms are clean everyday. The employees are wonderful. The rooftop restaurant is excellent. I had a rack of lamb which was out of this world.

My husband and I stayed a night here after landing pretty late in Athens. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were super clean (and comfy beds). We had a little balcony as well with a fun view in the morning. This location is super walkable as there are many restaurants and bars just 5 or so minutes away. We also enjoyed walking to the Acropolis after a bite to eat. We needed to catch a taxi in the morning and they helped and made it so easy. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We would absolutely stay here again!
