β β β β β Perfect place to chill, recharge batteries,and so importantly to us,see friends much missed! This idyllic hotel has once again weaved it's magic on us. It's our utopia for so many reasons and every time we return we are in awe of it and of the team who do such a fantastic job making it what it is. I cannot fault this truly amazing place.

β β β β β This hotel is amazing! The staff always goes the extra mile. The resort is so nice and clean. The pool beds are awesome. The food good and Switches everyday. They have a little shop next to the pool, where you can buy everything, thatβs really comfortable. We really love the details here and they put a lot of effort in everything.
The beach is right in front of the hotel. They have their own lifeguard there and you can use the loungers and parasols for free. Daily beach towel exchange is also possible, so donβt bring your own towels, makes the luggage lighter.

β β β β β A beautiful hotel where it is very nice to relax and have a perfect vacation. Excellent food and perfectly realised Corona measures. The entire hotel complex is always well cleaned and maintained and the staff is consistently friendly and eager to give guests the best vacation possible. The price is completely appropriate for the ambience, which aims for an target adult audience with high expectations. Overall one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

β β β β β Our Expectations were fully meet. There are several points which I want to describe more detailed.
Hotel itself - from the pictures, it is hard to imagine how big the whole area is. You can actually even lose yourself. There are many rooms which are nicely hidden in the whole area, avoiding building many stocks in the main building. The garden and the area look way better than on the pictures. But the real charm is visible at the evening where whole garden is lighted.
Location - it is located in a small city with several restaurants, markets, etc. the Hotel is located next there is only a small street between the hotel and beach, which is not a problem at all as the street is almost empty for the whole day. The beach itself is quite usual, rather small. But I must say, although Iβm a huge sea fan and never sitting on the pool, this time I chose the hotel pool as it is just amazing there, with the whole atmosphere and service.
Service - thatβs definitely something what In my opinion worked perfectly. Everyone is customer/guest oriented, the stuff is super nice, and it was not faked, the people working there are just lovely to everyone. The whole area including rooms was always perfectly clean.
Taking all together, we will definitely go there again and will strongly recommend it to other future and possible guests.

β β β β β Heading back from this unforgettable holz and the resort itself with an excellent cuisine and a vast variety of specialities and delis on offer for breakfast and dinner, friendly and positive staff where further enjoying spending time with English and German holidaymakers of course full of positiveness and the best of all NO FAMILIES WITH KIDS allowed thats why it worths visiting!!! The only issue was with staff having lower command of English when it came to speaking and some replacement of the old-fashioned and old amenities in rooms is needed.

β β β β β Beautiful garden, nice view, right next to the beach, comfortable room, food meets your expectations, friendly staff, clean.
Biggest opportunity for the hotel is entertainment! Better programs for guests entertainment could save the hotel from being realy boring specialy during evening and night hours. If you are looking for a place that is calm and you want to just chill, then this is a good place for you.

β β β β β Third visit to this fabulous adults only hotel in Gouves, Crete. It's the perfect place if you're looking for a week of rest and relaxation in the sun without being 'dead'. Fabulous staff, rooms, food, cocktails, pools and overall ambience. Nothing bad to say about this hotel and would go again in a heartbeat.

β β β β β This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful hotel. This was our Honeymoon and as before our expectations of cleanliness, professionalism, friendly staff and wonderful surroundings were met. The Island hotel is a beautiful quiet adult only hotel, and each member of staff goes out of their way to help you! I would recommend this hotel to re-charge your batteries, relax and feel like yourself again.
We stayed half board with a beautiful buffet breakfast and fantastic themed evenings.. you have 1 evening if you wish in the a la carte restaurant which gives you the traditional Greek flavours... our favourite bar/ restaurant gave you the choice of Italian dishes, beautiful salads and some Greek delights all at a very reasonable price.
Thank you for making our Honeymoon so special and we will be visiting again!
